An Important Note on Care Packages and Financial Gifts

1. Both of our families are separately supported.
2. Financial gifts should never be sent directly to us, but must go through our church mission office.
3. Packages should be as small as possible, tightly packed and sealed well. They should be sent directly to us.
4. The value of a package's contents must not exceed US$49, or we will be taxed to receive it.
5. Remove all original packaging and tags from items sent, no matter how nice they may be.
6. Occasionally a package can take months to arrive, especially if it gets held up in customs.
7. Chocolates may survive, but often melt or oxidize. 
8. Breakables should be carefully wrapped.
9. Make sure you give an accurate declaration of what you are sending, but do not write something that could make it appear more valuable than it really is. Do not use fancy titles like "works of art", etc.
