We just finished a music conference at Igreja Batista Emanuel. The conference was held all day Friday and Saturday. Bro. Elsen Portugal was the speaker. I was asked to help with a few of the split sessions which we ended up not having. I was able however to help a bit with a young boy who was learning to play the flute.

My main purpose in participating in the conference was to video the sessions. We are working hard to develop resources for pastors and churches. This is one more resource that we will have available on one of our websites in the near future. Several pastors and lay people are already benefiting from the few things we have available right now. Please pray that the Lord will open doors and allow us to greatly increase the content available for pastors.

Several other good things happened at the conference. We had a good time getting to know several Messianic Jews from a synagogue in the area. They also attend some meetings at the Templo Batista de Indianápolis. I also met another man from TBI that was very interested in our ministry and what we are doing.

While at the conference, two separate people told me that they really like our website. One lady told me she was referred to it by a missionary that I have never heard of before. Another man said he visits the website about every day and advertises it at the bottom of every e-mail he writes. To me, this was a special encouragement from the Lord. Sometimes it seems like it is not worth the effort because we do not see all the results. Yet, the Lord sends us messages like this to encourage us to keep working at it. People are visiting the website and it is doing them some good. Just in the past 30 days more than 220 people have visited the Portuguese side of the website. Nearly 200 of these were first time visitors. Several people have sent in prayer requests. Please continue to pray that the Lord would use this ministry.
